What exactly is Techstein?

Techstein is a 2-day, hands-on technology fest held inside your school in Robotics, AI & Cyber Security. Students learn by building real projects, compete in a live round, and one selected team from your school represents you at the Grand Finale at IIT Patna, in association with E-Cell IIT Patna.

Which grades can participate?

Grades 4 to 12. Grade 4–7 works on foundation Robotics & AI projects, while Grade 8–12 takes on advanced AI, Robotics and Cyber Security — including the flagship "Launch a Startup with AI" project. The school can pick one workshop track per batch.

What are the two finale rounds?

At the Grand Finale, Grade 4–7 teams compete in a live Robotics Competition, and Grade 8–12 teams take part in an Innovation & Startup Round — showcasing a real working project that solves a real-world problem and pitching it on stage like a startup, in front of judges.

How much does it cost?

Participation is ₹799 per student. This covers workshop training, robotics kits & software during the workshop, hands-on sessions, the competition and certificates for every participant. Take-home kits, if a student wants their own, are optional and separate.

What does our school need to provide?

Just a seminar hall or computer lab, one laptop with internet per team of 3–4 students, and refreshments during the workshop. Wingfotech handles trainers, kits, registration, fee collection, the competition, certificates and finale mentoring — the whole program end-to-end.

Is there a minimum number of students?

The target minimum is 50 students, with no fixed upper limit. Final participation is comfortably confirmed after a free demo for your management team, so there's no commitment upfront.

When and where is the Grand Finale?

The Grand Finale is a 2-day state-level championship held on the IIT Patna campus in January–February 2027, during an E-Cell IIT Patna event. Finalist teams compete for cash prizes, trophies and certificates, and every participating school receives a memento and recognition.

What do students and the school gain?

Students get hands-on skills, teamwork and a joint certification from Wingfotech & E-Cell IIT Patna. The school gets a Letter of Appreciation, state-level representation at IIT Patna, a memento, and a stronger future-ready, innovation-driven profile.
